A special subject 2 module aims to provide students with knowledge and skills about a topic in software development, computer network or information system design. The topics are chosen by the faculty staffs and can be different from year to year. This year, programming and developing applications with Python is selected for the module.
In this module, students will be guided to do a project (research or development project) as in reality. The students will apply things they have learnt from the previous modules (Special Subject 1, Programming 2, Software engineering, Database, Reseach methodology, Computer network, Web services …) to do this project. For the development project, we also apply one of a popular software lifecyle model when doing the project. That is very close to the thing they will do after graduating from the university.
