Scope  

After the great success of the previous SCICT conferences, we are pleased to announce the 16th Student Conference on Information & Communication Technology (SCICT 2024). This conference is an excellent forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas, experiences, opinions and research results relating to Information and Communication Technology.  The SCICT 2024 conference will be held on May 04, 2024, at the Faculty of Information technology of Hanoi University (HANU).  

Topics of interest  

The program committee encourages the submission of articles that communicate applied and empirical findings of interest to higher education professionals. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following topic areas:    ·  Natural Language Processing     ·  Multimedia & Pattern Recognition     ·  Evolutionary Learning     ·  Information Security     ·  Biomedical Information Processing     ·  Knowledge Representation and Reasoning     ·  Data Mining & Big Data

Publications  

All accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings and be available for accessing in the FIT’s portal of Hanoi University.  

Important Dates  Submission deadline: April 12th, 2024  Author notification: April 20th, 2024  Conference dates: May 04th, 2024  

Awards  

The SCICT Program Committee will select the winners for the Best Student Paper awards and the Best Poster for exhibition awards.  

Submission guidelines  

Students of the Faculty are invited to submit original and unpublished papers, which are not under review in any other conference or journal. All papers will be peer reviewed by the program committee based on their originality, significance, methodological soundness, and clarity of exposition.  Submitted papers must be written in English and should be in Microsoft Word format. They must follow the instructions given by Hanoi University (attached file).  

Submissions must be between 7 and 10 pages (A4 size), incorporating the title page (title, abstract and keywords), all text, references, figures and tables. These guidelines are strict: papers failing to adhere to the guidelines (by being more than 10 pages, altering margins or not following the template) will be rejected without consideration of their merits.  Submissions imply the willingness of at least one author to register, attend the conference, and present the paper.  Authors’ papers should be summited by emailing to the address tungvns@hanu.edu.vn  The organizing committee looks forward to welcoming you all to a fruitful conference with open discussions and important networking to promote high quality study and research.
